Scotland Yard raid in Imran Farooq Murder Case

(eNews.pk) - LONDON: In a major development in murder case MQM leader Dr. Imran Farooq, the Scotland Yard conducted a raid at a business address in Edgware Road and conducted a search of an office for 10 hours, Geo news reported Thursday .




According to sources, the UK police conducted a search of an office and also conducted the questioning, but no arrests were made.
Scotland Yard sources have claimed that the UK police has important evidence in the case Imran Farooq murder.
The police official said the attack was carried out by the Counter-Terrorism Unit of Scotland Yard command under the Police Act and criminal evidence.
The police officers said they were committed to exposing the murderers of Dr. Imran Farooq. A police team responsible for the arrest of the murderers of Dr. Farooq is constantly at work to solve the case of high-profile murder, they added.
The MQM leader Dr. Imran Farooq was stabbed to death by a stranger outside his house in central London on September 16, 2010.

لندن …لندن میں اسکاٹ لینڈ یارڈ نے عمران فاروق قتل کیس کی تحقیقات کے سلسلے میں بزنس ایڈریس پر ایک دفتر کی تلاشی لی اور بعض دستاویزات تحویل میں لے لیں۔پولیس ترجمان کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ کارروائی اسکاٹ لینڈ یارڈ کے کاوٴنٹر ٹیررازم کمانڈ یونٹ نے لندن کے علاقے ایجویئر میں کی۔ تلاشی کا عمل دس گھنٹے تک جاری رہا۔ اس دوران پوچھ گچھ بھی کی گئی تاہم کسی کو گرفتار نہیں کیا گیا۔ پولیس ترجمان کا کہنا ہے کہ کاوٴنٹر ٹیرر ازم کمانڈ یونٹ کی کارروائی کا دہشت گردی سے کوئی تعلق نہیں۔ یہ کارروائی پولیس اینڈ کریمنل ایوی ڈینس ایکٹ کے تحت کی گئی۔۔ پولیس ترجمان کا کہنا ہے کہ عمران فاروق کے قاتلوں کی گرفتاری کیلئے پْرعزم ہیں اورایک ٹیم اس سلسلے میں کام کررہی ہے۔ اسکاٹ لینڈ کے ذرائع کا دعویٰ ہے کہ عمران فاروق قتل کیس میں نئے سراغ اور اہم شواہد ملے ہیں۔ ایم کیو ایم کے رہنما عمران فاروق کو ستمبر 2010 میں لندن میں چاقو کے وار کرکے قتل کیا گیا تھا۔
