Romney nominated for Republican party

(eNews.pk) - TAMPA, Florida Republicans nominated Mitt Romney on Tuesday to President Barack Obama to challenge for the White House, kicking off their storm-delayed convention with a barrage of sharp attacks on Obama's economic leadership.




The formal nomination of Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan, is a two-month final dash to November 6 elections. Opinion polls show Romney running even with or slightly behind the Democratic president.
The convention opening was pushed back a day by a storm threat, but the Republicans wasted no time in condemning the economic performance of Obama and remind voters of the persistently high unemployment and growing national budget deficit.








مٹ رومني ري پبلکن پارٹي کے باضابطہ صدارتي اميدوار نامزد


ٹامپا… امريکا ميں ري پبلکن پارٹي نے مٹ رومني کو باضابطہ طورپر صدارتي اميدوار نامزد کرديا. مٹ رومني نومبر ميں ہونے والے انتخابات ميں بارک اوباما سے مقابلہ کريں گے. مٹ رومني غير رسمي طور پر تو صدارتي اميدوار پہلے ہي بن چکے تھے اور انھوں نے اپني انتخابي مہم بھي شروع کررکھي ہے تاہم ان کي نامزدگي کي باضابطہ منظوري فلوريڈا کے شہر ٹامپا ميں ہونے والے کنونشن ميں دي گئي جس ميں ري پبلکن پارٹي کے پچاس ہزار سے زائد نمائندے شريک تھے. 65 سال کے مٹ رومني 2003سے 2007تک رياست ميساچوسيٹس کے گورنررہ چکے ہيں. 6نومبر کو ہونے والے صدارتي انتخابات ميں ان کے اور بارک اوباما کے درميان سخت مقابلہ متوقع ہے.
