Road mishap in Astore kills 8

(eNews.pk) - ASTORE: a passenger van plunged into the river Pari Shung Astore district of Gilgit-Baltistan that killed eight people and wounded 20 others Tuesday.




Police said the accident occurred due to overloading and speeding. The driver lost control and the bus fell into the river, killing eight people at once while over 20 were injured.

استور… گلگت بلتستان کے ضلع استور ميں مسافر ويگن دريائے پري شنگ ميں جاگري،حادثے ميں 8 افراد ہلاک اور 20 سے زائد زخمي ہوگئے.پوليس کے مطابق مسافر ويگن کو حادثہ اوورلوڈنگ کے باعث پيش آيا . ويگن ڈرائيور سے بے قابو ہوکر دريائے پري شنگ ميں جاگري. حادثے ميں 8 افراد موقع پر ہلاک ہوگئے جبکہ 20 سے زائد زخمي ہوئے. مقامي افراد اور پوليس اہلکاروں نے امدادي کارروائياں کرتے ہوئے تمام زخميوں اور لاشوں کو سول اسپتال استور منتقل کرديا ہے.جہاں اسپتال حکام کے مطابق زخميوں ميں بيشتر کي حالت نازک ہے.
