Quetta doctors' OPDs boycott continues

(eNews.pk) - QUETTA: Doctors continued their boycott of OPD on Monday, but emergency services provided in public and private hospitals.

Doctors in Balochistan are protesting the kidnapping of a senior member colleague, Dr. Ghulam Rasool.

A total boycott of OPD in private hospitals and the government is entering its sixth day. The boycott is seen in the call of Pakistan Medical Association, young doctors, Baloch Forum Association medical and paramedical staff, while emergency rooms in public hospitals are functioning as usual and are providing patient care.

کوئٹہ … کوئٹہ ميں ڈاکٹر غلام رسول کي عدم بازيابي کے خلاف کوئٹہ سميت صوبہ بھر کے سرکاري و نجي اسپتالوں ميں ڈاکٹروں کي ہڑتال جاري ہے ،مسلسل سات روز سے او پي ڈيز بند ہيں.پاکستان ميڈيکل ايسوسي ايشن بلوچستان اور ڈاکٹروں کي ديگر تنظيموں کي جانب سے سينئر ڈاکٹر غلام رسول کے اغوا اور عدم بازيابي کے خلاف سرکاري اور نجي اسپتالوں ميں ہڑتال آج ساتويں روز بھي جاري ہے،جہاں او پي ڈيز بند ہيں جبکہ سرکا ري اسپتالوں ميں ايمرجنسي سروسز فراہم کي جا رہي ہے تاہم او پي ڈيز بند ہونے اور وارڈز ميں ڈاکٹروں کي عدم دستيابي کے باعث مريضوں کو سخت مشکلات کا سامنا ہے.
