Quetta Carnage: Demos, sit-ins continue in Karachi

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: solidarity demonstrations and sit-ins that took place in different areas of Karachi, continued until Sunday night and Monday morning, resulting in the closure of most parts of the port city of Pakistan, Geo news .




Hundreds of protesters, including women and children holding placards and shouting slogans posters against the slaughter of innocent people in Quetta demanding justice.
On the other hand some vehicle fire incidents were also reported from different parts of the city in which the unknown vandals set fire to two passenger buses in Malir and Shar-e-Faisal Colony gates.
Most of the main arteries of the city was closed to traffic as the blisters had been blocking sit overnight.

کراچی…سانحہ کوئٹہ میں جاں بحق اور زخمی ہو نے والوں کے لواحقین سے اظہار یکجہتی کے لیے شیعہ علماء کونسل کی جانب سے کراچی کے مختلف علاقوں میں احتجاجی دھرنے جاری ہیں، جس کے باعث شہر کی بیشتر اہم شاہراہوں کو ٹریفک کے لئے بند کردیا گیا ہے،،شہر کے مختلف علاقوں میں جاری دھرنوں میں بچے اور خواتین بھی شریک ہیں۔شیعہ علماء کونسل کی جانب سے جن علاقوں میں رات گئے بھی دھرنے جاری ہیں ان میں انچولی سوسائٹی، عائشہ منزل، نارتھ ناظم آباد میں فائیو اسٹار چورنگی، رضویہ سوسائٹی، نمائش ، عباس ٹاوٴن، یونیورسٹی روڈ، ملیر، شارع فیصل اور شاہراہ پاکستان شامل ہیں۔ ترجمان مجلس وحدت مسلمین کے مطابق سندھ بھر میں ہونے والی ہڑتال میں عوام سے پر امن رہنے کی اپیل ہے، انھوں نے تاجر اتحاد، ٹرانسپورٹ اور دیگر سیاسی اور مذہبی جماعتوں کی جانب سے پر امن ہڑتال کی حمایت کر نے پرشکریہ بھی ادا کیا ہے۔
