Protest against Morsi continue to 7th day in Egypt

(eNews.pk) - CAIRO: Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi faced nationwide protests Tuesday after digging in their heels on a controversial decree granting broad powers in the crisis most controversial since taking office in June.




Thousands left their union lawyers singing: \"The people want the fall of the regime\" - the signature song of the protests that toppled Hosni Mubarak last year - as they made their way to Tahrir Square Cairo\'s iconic.
Several other marches were arranged from around the capital to join thousands of protesters in the square and to denounce the decree Morsi.
In the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, several hundred gathered in Qaitbay square, with two large marches expected to join them later.
\"Down with the rule of the Supreme Guide,\" they chanted, referring to the head of the powerful Muslim Brotherhood, on whose ticket Morsi ran for office.

قاہرہ. . .. .مصر میں صدر مرسی کے خلاف احتجاج کا سلسلہ ساتویں روز بھی جاری ہے۔اسکندریہ میں صدرکے حامی اور مخالفین کے درمیان جھڑپوں میں سو افراد زخمی ہوگئے ۔پْرتشدد واقعات میں ہلاک ہونے والوں کی تعداد تین ہو گئی ۔قاہرہ میں صدر مرسی کے جاری کردہ متنازعہ فرمان کے خلاف احتجاج کا سلسلہ ساتویں روز بھی جاری ہے۔ہزاروں مظاہرین تحریراسکوائر پرپڑاوٴ ڈالے بیٹھے ہیں۔اس موقع پراپوزیشن جماعتوں کے رہنماوں نے مظاہرین سے خطاب میں زور دیا ہے کہ وہ مطالبات پورے ہونے تک تحریراسکرائر پرڈٹے رہیں۔صدرمرسی کے خلاف اسکندریہ ،سوئز ،منیا اور دریائے نیل کے ڈیلٹا کے مختلف علاقوں میں بھی مظاہرے کیے گئے۔ماہالا میں اخوان المسلمون کے دفتر کے باہر صدر کے حامیوں اور مخالفین کے درمیان جھڑپیں بھی ہوئیں۔ دونوں جانب سے ایک دوسرے پر پتھراوٴ کیا گیاجس میں سو افراد زخمی ہوئے۔ اب تک صدر کے حکم نامے کے خلاف ان کے اپنے دو مشیر بھی استعفے دے چکے ہیں۔
