Peasant eyes gouged out in Alipur

(eNews.pk) - Muzaffargarh: In what appeared to be an act of barbarism, with the eyes of a peasant gouged oldest enmity Tehseel Jatoi of Muzaffargarh district, Geo news reported Thursday.




Police said the case had been registered against eight persons, while three defendants were also arrested.
According to police, Ghulam Fareed and his seven accomplices entered the house of Bilal at around 10 pm on Wednesday and took him away.
Police said the accused Bilal badly tortured and put out his eyes in Kotla Basti area of Jatoi.
They said the wounded man was taken to Nishtar Hospital Multan for treatment. Police said the incident was the result of an old enmity.
