Pakistan forces kill six militants in Bannu

(eNews.pk) - Bannu: Pakistan police and security forces killed six militants including four suicide bombers in retaliation after dozens of insurgents attacked a police station here on Thursday morning, Geo news.




According to official sources, armed militants stormed Miryan thinking police station must be sleeping on the job, however, a valiant counterattack dashed their hopes and at least six attackers were killed.
A security official was also wounded in the attack.
The sources also said some insurgents were still present in the police station and the exchange of fire between the militants and the LEA continues.

بنوں…بنوں میں شدت پسندوں نے تھانے پر حملہ کردیا۔پولیس، سیکیورٹی فورسز اور شدت پسندوں کے درمیان فائرنگ کے تبادلے میں 6 حملہ آورمارے گئے۔پولیس کے مطابق تھانامیریان پر شدت پسندوں نے صبح سویرے حملہ کردیا۔ جس کے بعد پولیس اور شدت پسندوں کے درمیان فائرنگ کا تبادلہ شروع ہوگیا،، بعد میں سیکیو رٹی فورسز کے اہلکار بھی موقع پر پہنچ گئے اور شدت پسندوں کے خلاف کارروائی میں حصہ لیا۔ذرائع کے مطابق تھانا میر یان میں تقریبا دو درجن پولیس اہلکار ہیں۔ ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ اب بھی 3حملہ آور تھانے میں موجود ہیں۔علاقے میں سیکیورٹی فورسز اور شدت پسندوں کے درمیان فائرنگ کا سلسلہ جاری ہے۔
