Oprah becomes most highest paid celebrity

(eNews.pk) - LOS ANGELES: Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has been named the world's highest paid celebrity after banking $ 165 million in the past year.




She has left directors Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg in a study by Forbes magazine. The news comes just days after she was listed as the 11th most powerful woman in the world in another study by the same publication.
Winfrey's annual earnings from May 2011 to May 2012 pushed Bay filmmaker, who scored second place with $ 160 million. Spielberg was in third with $ 130 million, while the Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer was on the fourth slot with $ 115 million and rap mogul Dr. Dre completed the top five with an earning of $ 110 million.
