Olympics: US gilds its lead over China

(eNews.pk) - LONDON: After the last track and field victories of the United States of America has taken a slight lead in gold medals and a larger advantage for total medals in the Olympic Games in London.




The U.S. has claimed 39 events, while China 37. Britain is third overall at 25, but are now behind Russia, 56 medals.
The signature event was the largest national team of U.S. women soccer by beating Japan 2-1, with Amy LePeilbet Arizona State to play an important role. The U.S. also won gold medals in women's water polo and captured 1-2 in the men's decathlon while winning the triple jump and also some boxing events.
