Obama's Ramazan Message to Muslim World

(eNews.pk) - WASHINGTON: U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday praised the courage of the dissidents who fight for democracy in Muslim countries, in a message marking the start of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.




"On behalf of the American people, Michelle and I extend our best wishes to Muslim Americans and Muslims around the world at the beginning of Ramadan," Obama said in a statement.
Although not mentioned by name the "Arabs" Spring uprisings against authoritarian Arab rulers, Obama said: "This year, Ramadan has a special meaning for citizens in the Middle East and North Africa, who valiantly to achieve democracy and determination and for those still struggling to achieve their universal rights. "

واشنگٹن… امريکي صدر بارک اوباما نے مسلم ممالک ميں جمہوريت کي جدوجہد کرنے والوں کو خراج تحسين پيش کيا ہے . وائٹ ہاو?س سے جاري بيان ميں امريکي صدر بارک اوباما نے کہا ہے کہ وہ اور مشيل اوباما امريکا سميت دنيا بھر ميں مسلمانوں کو رمضان کے آغاز پر دل کي گہرائيوں سے مبار باد پيش کرتے ہيں.انھوں نے کہا کہ اس سال رمضان مشرق وسطي? اور شمالي افريقہ کے ان ملکوں کے عوام کے ليے خصوصي اہميت رکھتا ہے جنھوں نے جمہوريت اور خوداراديت کا حق حاصل کرليا ہے.اور ان ممالک کے عوام کے ليے بھي جہاں جمہوريت کي جدوجہد جاري ہے.اوباما نے جمہوريت پسندوں کي حمايت جاري رکھنے کا اعادہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ امريکا ان تمام لوگوں کا ساتھ ديتا رہے گا جو اپنے حقوق چاہتے ہيں اور خوف اور تشدد کے ماحول سے نجات کے خواہش مند ہيں.
