New York bus driver catches falling girl

(eNews.pk) - NEW YORK: A bus driver in New York has become the surprise hero after saving a seven-year-old who accidentally fell three floors of a Brooklyn apartment building.

"He said, 'Please let me recover, sir, please let me capture," said Stephen St. Bernard local NY1 television on Monday to rescue Coney Island in Brooklyn neighborhood.

A video of the incident taken by a mobile phone and was aired on the girl standing in an air conditioning unit outside the window of his apartment more than 30 feet (10 meters) above the ground.

Amid shouts of people watching the scene unfold from the ground, she fell into the arms of St. Bernard.

"I ran toward it, hoping it would not fall. When I arrived she was still there and I positioned myself," he said.
