New LG System Propogate in Sindh

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad the Sindh Peoples Local Government Regulation (SPLGO) 2012 promulgated, making new system of governance in the province with immediate effect, Geo news reported.




Earlier, Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah signed the summary of the ordinance as the ruling coalition partners, PPP and MQM reached a consensus on provisions of the Regulation in their meeting held at CM House.
The sources said that the new system will be functional in five districts of the province Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana and MirPurKhas recorded while the remainder of the province will have district councils.
Governor Ishrat ul Ebad derived President Asif Ali Zardari and MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that the enforcement of the new local government system is a great success of the democratic government.








سندھ میں نیا بلدیاتی نظام نافذ، کراچی سمیت 5 شہروں میں میئر آئینگے


کراچی … گورنر سندھ ڈاکٹر عشرت العباد خان نے بلدیاتی آرڈیننس پر دستخط کردیئے، سندھ پیپلز لوکل گورنمنٹ آرڈیننس 2012ء فوری طور پر نافذ العمل ہوگیا ہے۔ گورنر سندھ ڈاکٹر عشرت العباد خان کی جانب سے بلدیاتی آرڈیننس پر دستخط کیے جانے کے بعد نیا بلدیاتی نظام صوبے میں فوری طور پر نافذ العمل ہوگیا ہے۔ گورنر ہاوٴس میں گورنر سندھ نے وزیراعلیٰ سندھ، پیپلزپارٹی اور ایم کیو ایم کے رہنماوٴں کے سامنے پیپلز لوکل گورنمنٹ آرڈیننس 2012ء پر دستخط کئے، نئے آرڈیننس کا نام پیپلز میٹروپولیٹن کارپوریشن آرڈیننس 2012ء ہے۔ آرڈیننس سندھ کے 5 اضلاع حیدرآباد، سکھر، لاڑکانہ اور میرپورخاص میں میٹروپولیٹن کارپوریشنز ہونگیں۔ میٹروپولیٹن کارپوریشنز کے سربراہ مئیر اور ڈپٹی مئیر کہلائیں گے، 5 شہروں کے علاوہ دیگر اضلاع میں ڈسٹرکٹ کونسلز ہونگیں۔ اس سے قبل ایم کیو ایم اور پیپلز پارٹی کے رہنماوٴں کا وزیراعلیٰ ہاوٴس میں 5 گھنٹے سے زائد طویل اجلاس ہوا۔ اجلاس میں گورنر سندھ ڈاکٹر عشرت العباد خان اور وزیراعلیٰ سندھ سید قائم علی شاہ بھی شریک تھے۔ اجلاس میں نئے بلدیاتی نظام کی شقوں پر تبادلہٴ خیال کیا گیا۔
