نیب نے قومی خزانے میں کوئی رقم جمع نہیں کروائی، سلیم مانڈوی والا
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senator and former finance minister Saleem Mandviwala said that according to the finance ministry, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had not deposited any money in the national treasury and NAB officials were summoned to Parliament House in this regard.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Senator Saleem Mandviwala said that the lie of NAB depositing money in the national treasury has come to light.
He said that when the Ministry of Finance was asked how much money has been deposited by NAB till date, the Ministry of Finance has given a very interesting answer regarding the recovery of NAB.
“The finance ministry has said that the NAB has not deposited any money in the national treasury and we only know the amount we have budgeted for the NAB,” he said.
Saleem Mandviwala said that the question is that NAB makes so many claims that we have deposited so much money but NAB has not deposited a single rupee in the national treasury till date.
He said that there was a big discrepancy in the details of the amount submitted by NAB and asked the NAB officials to come and explain.
He said that the NAB should come and tell where the recovered money has fallen, the money belonging to the National Crime Agency of UK has fallen in the account of the Supreme Court.
Earlier, the NAB had said that a total of Rs 821.46 billion had been recovered while officials of the Ministry of Finance and SBP expressed ignorance.
The Finance Ministry said that only Rs 6.5 billion was received under non-tax revenue. It is not known where the remaining funds are being used.
He said that we cannot even ask the NAB officials where the money is while the Senate committee wrote a letter to the Auditor General of Pakistan and the NAB auditor and summoned him to the next meeting and said An audit will also be conducted.
پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی (پی پی پی) کے سینیٹر اور سابق وزیر خزانہ سلیم مانڈوی والا نے کہا کہ وزارت خزانہ کے مطابق قومی احتساب بیورو (نیب) نے قومی خزانے میں کوئی رقم جمع نہیں کرائی اور اس حوالے سے نیب حکام کو پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس میں طلب کیا گیا۔
اسلام آباد میں میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے سینیٹر سلیم مانڈوی والا نے کہا کہ نیب کا پیسہ قومی خزانے میں جمع کرانے کا جھوٹ سامنے آگیا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ جب وزارت خزانہ سے پوچھا گیا کہ نیب نے اب تک کتنی رقم جمع کرائی ہے تو وزارت خزانہ نے نیب کی ریکوری کے حوالے سے بڑا دلچسپ جواب دیا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ‘وزارت خزانہ نے کہا ہے کہ نیب نے قومی خزانے میں کوئی رقم جمع نہیں کرائی اور ہمیں صرف یہ معلوم ہے کہ ہم نے نیب کے لیے کتنی رقم رکھی ہے’۔
سلیم مانڈوی والا نے کہا کہ سوال یہ ہے کہ نیب اتنے دعوے کرتا ہے کہ ہم نے اتنی رقم جمع کرائی لیکن نیب نے آج تک قومی خزانے میں ایک روپیہ بھی جمع نہیں کرایا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ نیب کی جانب سے جمع کرائی گئی رقم کی تفصیلات میں بڑا تضاد ہے، نیب حکام سے کہا کہ آکر وضاحت کریں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ نیب آکر بتائے کہ برآمد شدہ رقم کہاں پڑی ہے، برطانیہ کی نیشنل کرائم ایجنسی کی رقم سپریم کورٹ کے اکاؤنٹ میں پڑی ہے۔
اس سے قبل نیب نے کہا تھا کہ مجموعی طور پر 821.46 ارب روپے ریکور کیے گئے ہیں جبکہ وزارت خزانہ اور اسٹیٹ بینک کے حکام نے لاعلمی کا اظہار کیا۔
وزارت خزانہ کا کہنا ہے کہ نان ٹیکس ریونیو کی مد میں صرف 6.5 ارب روپے موصول ہوئے۔ یہ معلوم نہیں کہ باقی فنڈز کہاں استعمال ہو رہے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم نیب حکام سے یہ بھی نہیں پوچھ سکتے کہ پیسہ کہاں ہے جبکہ سینیٹ کمیٹی نے آڈیٹر جنرل آف پاکستان اور نیب کے آڈیٹر کو خط لکھ کر آئندہ اجلاس میں طلب کر لیا اور کہا کہ آڈٹ بھی کرایا جائے گا۔
