Manmohan condemns US temple shooting

(eNews.pk) - NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday expressed shock at the massacre of worshipers in a Sikh temple in the U.S..

"I am deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the shooting which resulted in the loss of precious lives," Singh, a Sikh himself, said in a statement.

"May this act of senseless violence should be directed to a place of worship is particularly painful."

In Sunday's attack, gunmen fired on worshipers at a Sikh temple in suburban Wisconsin, in the Midwestern United States, killing at least six people before he was shot dead by police.

"I hope the U.S. authorities to investigate who is behind this cowardly attack on innocent devotees and to ensure that such horrific events have no place," Singh told reporters later. (AFP)

امريکي حکومت گوردوارے پر حملے کي تہہ تک پہنچنے ، منموہن سنگھ

نئي دہلي…بھارت کے وزيراعظم من موہن سنگھ نے اميدظاہر کي ہے کہ امريکي حکومت وسکونسن گوردوارے پرحملے کي تہہ تک جانے کي کوشش کرے گي. حملے ميں ملوث امريکاکے سابق فوجي کي تصويربھي جاري کردي گئي ہے.رياست وسکونسن ميں گوردوارے پرحملے ميں امريکاکاسابق فوجي ملوث ہونادنيابھرميں سکھ کميونٹي کے ليے تشويش کاباعث بن گياہے.واقعہ کے خلاف بھارت کے مختلف شہروں ميں بھي مظاہرے کيے جارہے ہيں.خودوزيراعظم منموہن سنگھ نے بھي واقعہ کي مذمت کي.سابق امريکي فوجي نے گوردوارے کے کچن ميں داخل ہوکر فائرنگ کي تھي اورجوابي فائرنگ پراس نے ايک اہلکارکوبھي زخمي کردياتاہم ساتھي پوليس اہلکارکي فائرنگ سے وہ بالآخر ماراگيا. کميونٹي کاکہناہے کہ اُنہيں نفرت کانشانہ بناياگيا.گيارہ ستمبرکے بعد رياست ايري زوناميں گيس اسٹيشن کے سکھ مالک کوبھي ہلاک کياجاچکاہے.مقتول کے بھائي کے زخم پھرسے تازہ ہوگئے ہيں.سکھ کميونٹي کاکہناہے کہ وہ دہشت گردنہيں اوران کامذہب اس بات کوپسندنہيں کرتاکہ عبادت گاہ آنے والوں کوروکاجائے.امريکاميں سکھ کميونٹي سے تعلق رکھنے والوں کي تعداد5لاکھ ہے اور وسکونسن واقعہ کے بعدگوردواروں کي سيکيورٹي بڑھادي گئي ہے.
