Malalah Yousafzai sent to Britain for Treatment

(eNews.pk) - RAWALPINDI: Malala Yusufzai has been sent to the UK for further treatment, following the decision of the board of doctors treating her at the military hospital here and with the consent of family members, Geo news.




Malala - an outspoken advocate of education for girls - shot in the head and neck while waiting for a school bus on Tuesday in the northwestern district of Swat.
After his initial treatment at a local hospital, has been receiving medical care at a military hospital in Rawalpindi for the last days.
The decision to send the UK Malala had been taken after consultation with the members of his family and all his treatment expenses will be borne by the Government of Pakistan, according to a statement issued by ISPR said.
Earlier Pakistan's ambassador to United Arab Emirates (UAE) had told Geo news that an air ambulance had arrived from the UAE to change Malala abroad as part of contingency plans.
ISPR statement also said the condition was out of danger Malala and was improving slowly and steadily. His ventilator was removed for a while and Malala was breathing on his own.

اسلام آباد…ملالہ یوسف زئی کو علاج کے لیے بیرون ملک بھجوادیا گیا ہے ،پاک فوج کے تر جمان ادارے آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق ملالہ یو سف زئی کو بر طانیہ بھیجا گیا ہے جہاں علاج کی بہترین سہولیات موجود ہیں،ملالہ پر علاج کے اخراجات حکومت بر داشت کرے گی۔آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق ملالہ کو مکمل صحت یابی کے لیے طویل نگہداشت کی ضرورت ہے،ملالہ کو برطانیہ بھیجنے کا فیصلہ اس کے خاندان کی مشاورت سے کیا گیا۔اس سلسلے میں متحدہ عرب امارات سے ایئرایمبولینس پاکستان پہنچ چکی ہے ۔اس سے قبل متحدہ عرب امارات میں پاکستانی سفیرجمیل احمد خان نے جیو نیوز سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے بتایا تھا کہ یو اے ای میں ملالہ کے علاج کی تمام تیاریاں مکمل کرلی گئی ہیں۔ ڈاکٹروں نے اجازت دی توملالہ کودبئی منتقل کیا جائیگا۔ آئی ایس پی آر کی جانب سے ملالہ کی صحت کے بارے میں بتایا گیا تھا کہ ملالہ کی حالت خطرے سے باہر ہے اور اس میں متواتر اور تسلی بخش بہتری آ رہی ہے، وینٹی لیٹر بھی کچھ دیر کے لیے ہٹایا گیا تھا اور ملالہ نے خود سانسیں بھی لی تھیں۔
