London Olympics close officially

(eNews.pk) - LONDON: The London Olympics, was declared closed on Sunday by the IOC President Jacques Rogge, after a ceremony, which culminated with the delivery of the Olympic flag in 2016 the armies of Rio de Janeiro.

"They were happy and glorious Games," Rogge said. "The legacy of the Games of the 30th Olympiad will be demonstrated in many ways.

"Among the specific improvements in infrastructure will benefit the host nation in the coming years.

"The human legacy will reach all parts of the world. Many young people will be inspired to play a sport or to pursue their dreams."
