Prime Minister Imran Khan, while chairing the National Coordinating Committee (NCC) in Islamabad on Thursday, said the government had decided to gradually lift the block from May 9 (Saturday), adding that the decision to lift the block had been made to alleviate the suffering of day laborers, workers and weak sections of society.
We do this because our people suffer, he said.
The Prime Minister urged people to assume their responsibilities, saying that the success of the next phase will depend on compliance with the government’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Imran insisted that although the number of cases increases and the curve increases, the increase is slow and steady. The blockage is lifted, but wisely and in phases, adding that people are concerned and concerned about the risk of the virus spreading, but the government must take into account the economic impact of the virus.
He said: “Every sector is currently in trouble, small traders, rickshaw and taxi drivers, as well as workers face major difficulties due to the blockade.”
Prime Minister said: “The government has given the largest aid package in Pakistan’s history.” He emphasized: “How long can we give a package? So we have to unlock it. “
The prime minister added that anyone who leaves their homes and all reopened industries must follow the SOPs. He warned that if the people did not follow them and the cases escalated, the government would be forced to reapply the lock.
He said public transport will remain closed due to the province’s supplies. However, he added that public transport should be open as this is the usual mode of transportation because the government wants to make people’s lives easier.
About Pakistanis stranded abroad, the Prime Minister said that more than 100,000 Pakistanis were stranded abroad. If they are returned, they will be taken to a quarantine center and tested for coronavirus, he said.
PM Imran Khan also decided that all educational institutions will remain closed until July 15th. All board exams across the country have been canceled. Students would be rated based on their past performance in board exams.

اسلام آباد میں قومی رابطہ کمیٹی (این سی سی) کے اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے کہا کہ حکومت نے 9 مئی (ہفتہ) سے مرحلوں میں لاک ڈاؤن کو ختم کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے ، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ لاک ڈاؤن اٹھانے کا فیصلہ مصائب کو دور کرنے کے لئے لیا گیا ہے۔ روزانہ اجرت کمانے والے ، مزدور اور معاشرے کے کمزور طبقات کی وجہ سے بھی کیا گیا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم یہ اس لئے کر رہے ہیں کہ ہمارے لوگ پریشانی کا شکار ہیں۔
وزیر اعظم نے لوگوں کو اپنی ذمہ داریوں کو نبھانے کی اپیل کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اگلے مرحلے کی کامیابی کا انحصار حکومت کے جاری کردہ معیاری آپریٹنگ طریقہ کار (ایس او پیز) کی تعمیل پر ہوگا۔
عمران نے اصرار کیا کہ اگرچہ کیسز کی تعداد بڑھ رہی ہے اور منحنی خطوط بڑھ رہا ہے ، اس میں اضافہ سست اور مستحکم ہے۔ لاک ڈاؤن کو دور کیا جائے گا لیکن طریقے اور مرحلوں میں ، لوگ اس وائرس کے پھیلاؤ سے پریشان ہیں ، لیکن حکومت کو اس وائرس کے معاشی اثرات کو بھی مدنظر رکھنا چاہئے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ “اس وقت ہر شعبہ مشکلات کا شکار ہے ، چھوٹے تاجروں ، رکشہ اور ٹیکسی ڈرائیوروں کے علاوہ مزدوروں کو بھی لاک ڈاؤن کی وجہ سے بڑی مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑ رہا ہے۔”
وزیر اعظم نے کہا ، “حکومت نے پاکستان کی تاریخ کا سب سے بڑا ریلیف پیکج دیا ہے۔” انہوں نے زور دیا کہ “ہم کب تک پیکیج دے سکتے ہیں؟ لہذا ہمیں لاک ڈاؤن کو ختم کرنا ہوگا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ملک میں یہ صلاحیت نہیں ہے کہ وہ سب کو قرنطین میں رکھے اور اس لئے انہیں خود سے الگ تھلگ رہنا پڑے گا۔
وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے یہ بھی فیصلہ کیا کہ 15 جولائی تک تمام تعلیمی ادارے بند رہیں گے۔ ملک بھر میں بورڈ کے تمام امتحانات منسوخ کردیئے گئے ہیں۔ طلباء کا بورڈ امتحانات میں ان کی پچھلی کارکردگی کا جائزہ لیا جائے گا۔
