LHC: Article 62, 63 implementation's case hearing

(eNews.pk) - LAHORE: Lahore High Court on Monday began a case relating to the implementation of Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution.




During the hearing, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah ordered the court informed of defaulters and those whose nomination papers were rejected by the returning officers and their country.
Bench also sought recognition and record of events from January 33 to 16 March.
He noted that the transfers were made despite the ban, while the Electoral Commission sat in silence after the announcement in this regard.
The judge asked why he was not constitutional powers used in the electoral authority. "We should not allow to enter infringe reports," he said.
The court also sought the nomination record documents submitted under Punjab interrupted before the hearing until Tuesday.

لاہور…لاہور ہائیکورٹ میں آئین کے آرٹیکل 62 اور 63 پر عملدرآمد کیس کی سماعت آج ہو گی۔ عدالت نے پنجاب بھر میں جمع کرائے گئے کاغذات نامزدگی کا رکارڈ طلب کیا ہے۔گزشتہ سماعت پر جسٹس منصور علی شاہ نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ کیا قانون توڑنے والوں کو بھی اسمبلیوں میں لے آئیں؟ ہر معاملہ عدالت کے کندھوں پر رکھ کر نہ چلایا جائے۔ عدالت نے کہاکہ الیکشن کمیشن نوٹیفکیشن جاری کر کے بیٹھ گیا، آئینی اختیارات استعمال کیوں نہیں کیے جا رہے؟عدالت کو بتایا جائے کہ کون نادہندہ ہے اور کس کے کاغذات کیوں مسترد کیے گئے؟ عدالت نے 22جنوری سے 16مارچ تک پابندی کے باوجود ہونے والے تقرروتبادلوں اورترقیاتی اخراجات کا رکارڈ بھی طلب کر لیا اورکہاکہ پابندی کے باوجود تبادلے اور ترقیاتی فنڈز جاری ہو تے رہے۔
