Karachi: Two police men killed in firing

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: Two policemen were shot dead by unknown gunmen in the northern area of Karachi Friday, Geo news.




According to sources, unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on two policemen who were on duty at a checkpoint in Khawaja Ajmer Nagri North Karachi area.
As a result of the shooting, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) was killed instantly, while the Sipahi succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
Fear gripped the area after the incident.

کراچی…نارتھ کراچی کے علاقے خواجہ اجمیر نگری میں فائرنگ سے دو پولیس اہلکار جاں بحق ہوگئے۔تفصیلات کے مطابق خواجہ اجمیر نگری تھانے کے دونوں اہلکار خواجہ اجمیر نگری کے علاقے میں اپنی چوکی پر ڈیوٹی سرانجام دے رہے تھے کہ اسی دوران موٹر سائیکل پر سوارنامعلوم مسلح افراد نے ڈیوٹی پر موجود دونوں اہلکارں پر اندھا دھند فائرنگ کردی جس سے اے ایس آئی موقع پر جاں بحق ہوگیا جبکہ سپاہی نے اسپتال جاتے ہوئے دم توڑ دیا، فائرنگ کے بعد علاقے میں کشیدگی پھیل گئی ہے۔
