Jsqm & Awami Tehreek refused to end strike

(eNews.pk) - Karachi: Leaders Sindhi nationalist party, Awami Tehreek and JSQM, refused to withdraw the strike call and vowed to observe them at all costs, Geo news reported.

General Secretary Awami Tehreek, Anwar Somroo said they would observe the strike against the promulgation of SPLGO at all costs. He appealed to traders and transporters to shut their business today (Thursday).

Ilahi Bux Bubak of JSQM leader said Sindh Bacahyu Committee will observe strike today, adding they also observe day of mourning over the tragic Karachi.

He said some people are trying to create misunderstanding about the strike.

Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced to withdraw strike call.

کراچی … عوامی تحریک اور جسقم کے رہنماوٴں نے آج کی ہڑتال واپس لینے سے انکار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ہڑتال ہر حالت میں ہوگی، کچھ لوگ غلط فہمیاں پیدا کررہے ہیں جبکہ جماعت اسلامی نے آج کی ہڑتال میں شمولیت سے انکار کردیا گیا ہے۔ جنرل سیکریٹری عوامی تحریک انوار سومرو نے کہا ہے کہ بلدیاتی آرڈیننس کے خلاف آج ہر حالت میں ہڑتال ہوگی، تاجر اور ٹرانسپورٹرز اپنے کاروبار بند رکھیں۔ جسقم رہنما الٰہی بخش بکک کا کہنا ہے کہ آج سندھ بچا کمیٹی کی جانب سے ہڑتال ہوگی جبکہ کراچی سانحے پر یوم سوگ بھی منایا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کچھ لوگ ہڑتال کے بارے میں غلط فہمیاں پیدا کررہے ہیں۔ دوسری جانب جماعت اسلامی کے ترجمان نے آج کی ہڑتال کی کال واپس لینے کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے اس میں شمولیت سے انکار کردیا ہے۔
