Jahangir Tareen removed as chair of agriculture task force

(eNews.pk) - Leader Imran Khan's nearby helper and the PTI's previous secretary general Jahangir Khan Tareen has been "expelled" as executive of team on agribusiness after he was named in a prominent request report of sugar emergency as one of the fundamental recipient.




"Mr Jahangir Khan Tareen has been evacuated as Chair of Task Force on Agriculture considering discoveries of Sugar and Wheat Inquiry Report," PTI pioneer Shahbaz Gill affirmed on his official Twitter handle on Monday.


He likewise indicated that further move would be made against those saw as blameworthy for the wheat and sugar emergency.


Be that as it may, Tareen has dismissed the reports of his expulsion, saying he was never the administrator of any team.

پی ٹی آئی کے رہنما شہباز گل نے پیر کو اپنے سرکاری ٹویٹر ہینڈل پر تصدیق کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ "مسٹر جہانگیر خان ترین کو شوگر اور گندم سے متعلق انکوائری رپورٹ کے نتائج کی روشنی میں زراعت سے متعلق ٹاسک فورس کے سربراہ کے عہدے سے ہٹا دیا گیا ہے۔"

انہوں نے یہ اشارہ بھی کیا کہ گندم اور چینی کے بحران میں قصوروار پائے جانے والوں کے خلاف بھی مزید کارروائی کی جائے گی۔

تاہم ، ترین نے ان کی برطرفی کی اطلاعات کو مسترد کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ وہ کبھی کسی ٹاسک فورس کے چیئرمین نہیں تھے۔
