The Sindh government issued a ban on swimming and bathing in the sea and canals on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr as a precaution against the coronavirus.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Interior from Sindh Govt, the ban was imposed under section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) to control the spread of the coronavirus.
The Home Office has decided to ban bathing and swimming on the eve of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, taking into account requests from Commissioners Karachi and Hyderabad.
The notification says that rush on the beaches could further spread the novel corona virus in the province.

محکمہ داخلہ سندھ حکومت کے جاری کردہ ایک نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق ، کورونا وائرس کے پھیلاؤ کو کنٹرول کرنے کے لئے فوجداری ضابطہ اخلاق (سی آر پی سی) کی دفعہ 144 کے تحت پابندی عائد کردی گئی ہے۔
محکمہ داخلہ نے کمشنرز کراچی اور حیدرآباد کی درخواست پر غور کرتے ہوئے آئندہ عید الفطر کے موقع پر نہانے اور تیراکی پر پابندی عائد کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔
