Ex-US Attorney General meet Chief Justice Pakistan

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: Former Attorney General of the United States and a civil / human rights lawyer William Ramsey Clark, requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry here on Monday.




The Chief Justice welcomed the distinguished guest during his visit to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Karachi Registration and appreciated his efforts for the cause of human rights as he had been raising his voice against the crimes against peace, crimes war crimes and crimes against humanity in different parts of the World, an official press release said here.
Talking with foreign guest, the Chief Justice recalled his own visit to the United States in 2008 and the services and support Clark had provided the cause of the rule of law and independence of the judiciary in Pakistan.

کراچي…سابق امريکي اٹارني جنرل رمزے کلارک نے چيف جسٹس آف پاکستان جسٹس افتخار چوہدري سے ملاقات کي.ملاقات ميں پاکستان اور امريکا ميں قانون کي طرز حکمراني سے متعلق امور پر تبادلہ خيال کيا گيا.سپريم کورٹ کراچي رجسٹري ميں سابق امريکي اٹارني جنرل رمزے کلارک نے چيف جسٹس آف پاکستان جسٹس افتخار چوہدري سے ملاقات کے بعد ميڈيا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہاکہ امريکا ميں ڈاکٹر عافيہ صديقي کي سزا کا کوئي جواز نہيں بنتا.رمزے کلارکنے کہاکہ پاکستان کو ڈاکٹر عافيہ کي رہائي کيلئے جدوجہد کرني چاہيے. انہوں نے کہاکہ يہاں سے ڈاکٹر عافيہ کو اغواء کيا گيا انکا ايک بچہ تاحال لاپتہ ہے.ميڈيا سے گفتگو کے دوران ڈاکٹرعافيہ صديقي کي بہن ڈاکٹرفوزيہ صديقي بھي انکے ساتھ موجود تھيں.
