ECP increases polling time for upcoming LG polls

(eNews.pk) - Election Commission of Pakistan has increased time duration to cast ballots for the upcoming Local Bodies elections in Sindh and Punjab. According to detail, the Local Bodies elections polling will begin at 7:30 AM and continue till 5:30 PM without any interruption. The commission has also directed the election staff to arrive at their respective polling stations two hours prior to polling time. The first phase of LG polls in Sindh and Punjab will begin on 31st October.

الیکشن کمیشن نے سندھ ا ورپنجاب کے بلدیاتی انتخابات کیلئے پولنگ کا وقت ایک گھنٹہ بڑھا دیا ہے ، پولنگ صبح ساڑھے سات بجے سے شام ساڑھے پانچ بجے تک کسی تعطل کےبغیر مسلسل دس گھنٹے جاری رہےگی ۔ الیکشن کمیشن کے مطابق پولنگ اب 9 کی بجائے 10گھنٹے بغیر کسی تعطل کے جاری رہےگی ، پولنگ کے عملے کو مقررہ وقت سے 2 گھنٹے قبل پولنگ اسٹیشنز پرپہنچنے کی ہدایت کی گئی ہے پولنگ کے دن میڈیا کے نمائندوں اور مبصرین کو ایکریڈیشن کارڈ کےبغیر انتخابی عمل دیکھنے کی اجازت نہیں ہوگی ، سندھ اورپنجاب کےبلدیاتی انتخابات کےپہلے مرحلے کی پولنگ 31 اکتوبر کوہوگی۔
