Doctor Khalil Chishti release orders issued

(eNews.pk) - NEW DELHI: India's Supreme Court (SC) has issued orders to release Pakistani microbiologist Dr. Muhammad Khalil Chishti.




Khalil Chishti, 80, was allowed to go home on "humanitarian grounds" in May on the condition that he would return to the custody of India, so you can hear his appeal against conviction in a murder case.
The Indian Supreme Court on Wednesday issued orders release of Pakistani microbiologist.
Chishti spent 14 months in an Indian jail and was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in January 2011 for killing a man after a fight in Ajmer in 1992.
He was convicted after an unusually long 18 years of probation during which he was placed under house arrest.
President Zardari had raised the issue of the release of Chishti in his lunch meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, during a private visit to India in April this year.

نئی دہلی…بھارتی سپریم کورٹ نے پاکستانی ڈاکٹر خلیل چشتی کی رہائی کے احکامات جاری کر دیئے،بھارتی ٹی وی کے مطابق ڈاکٹر خلیل چشتی جیل میں 16 ماہ گزار چکے ہیں،ڈاکٹر خلیل چشتی نے20سال تک قانونی جنگ لڑی۔ڈاکٹر چشتی کو1992 میں اجمیر میں ایک رشتے دار کے قتل کیالزام میں گرفتار کر لیا گیا تھا،انہیں عدالت نے قتل کے مقدمہ میں جنوری 2011ء میں عمرقید کی سزا سنائی گئی تھی۔سزا پانے کے بعد وہ بھارتی ریاست راجستھان میں اجمیر کی جیل میں قید رہے۔رواں سال اپریل میں صدرمملکت آصف علی زرداری کے دورہ بھارت کے موقع پر ڈاکٹر خلیل چشتی کو انسانی بنیادوں پر ضمانت پر رہا کیا گیا تھا،تاہم انہیں مقدمہ کی سماعت کے لیے پیش ہونے کا پابند کیا گیا تھا۔
