Dadu, Thatta, Vehari by-polls voting started

(eNews.pk) - DADU: Polling began for the by-elections to the two Assembly seats in Sindh and Punjab Assembly seats in Monday.




According to details, the vote is underway in PS-73 Dadu, Thatta PS-84-1 and PPP-239 Vehari districts.
Deputy Commissioner Thatta Muhammad Nawaz Sooho had declared Monday a holiday in Thatta Taluka because of this constituency elections.
The seat became vacant following the resignation of Sindh Minister Sadiq Memon and MPA.
There are four active candidates in the field after withdrawals and withdrawals of other candidates. They include former PPP MPA Sadiq Memon, Manzoor Khushik, Hasan and Abdul Wahid Jakharo Brohi.

وہاڑی /ٹھٹھہ /دادو …وہاڑی میں پنجاب اسمبلی اور ٹھٹھہ اوردادو میں سندھ اسمبلی کی نشستوں پر ضمنی انتخابات کے لیے پولنگ شروع ہوگئی۔ سندھ اسمبلی کی 2 جبکہ پنجاب اسمبلی کی ایک نشست پرضمنی انتخاب کیلیے پولنگ جاری ہے۔ دادو میں حلقہ پی ایس 73 پر ضمنی انتخاب کے لئے پولنگ ہورہی ہے۔ حلقے میں رجسٹرڈ ووٹرز کی تعداد پندرہ لاکھ تین ہزار 939 ہے۔ کئی پولنگ اسٹیشنوں پر پولنگ عملہ نہ پہنچنے کی وجہ سے پولنگ شروع نہ ہونے کی اطلاعات ملی ہیں۔ ٹھٹھہ میں پی ایس 84 ٹھٹھہ 1 پر ضمنی انتخاب ہورہا ہے۔جب کہ وہاڑی میں پی پی 239 میں بھی بیشتر پولنگ اسٹیشنوں پر انتظامات مکمل نہ ہونے کی وجہ سیپولنگ عمل شروع نہ ہونے کی اطلاعات مل رہی ہیں۔
