ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa officials failed to produce the girls Kohistani at the center of the video scandal case before the Supreme Court on Thursday. The girls were sentenced to death by a jirga along with two men. During the proceedings of Thursday, the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa informed the court that three helicopters were sent to bring the girls to the Supreme Court, however, had been lost contact with the helicopters. Speaking to reporters outside the Supreme Court, the brother of two men accused, Afzal Khan claimed that the girls were killed on the orders of the tribal elders. Meanwhile, human rights activist, Farzana Bari, which is in Kohistan said that there was evidence of all five girls who are alive and that he had met two of them. Bari added that the girls could not be brought before the Supreme Court on Thursday in a village Jirga Palas Kohistan, was sentenced six people to clap and sing them after a videotape was released. Three judges of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry Muhamamd, heard a case regarding his motion video scandal and the death decree issued to six people by some priests of Kohistan. Four girls and two men were caught on video singing and dancing together at a wedding party in defiance of tribal customs in Kohistan.

اسلام آباد … سپريم کورٹ ميں کوہستان جرگہ کيس کي سماعت 20 جون تک ملتوي کردي گئي، آج بھي لڑکيوں کو پيش نہيں کيا جا سکا تاہم انساني حقوق کي کارکن فرزانہ باري نے 2 لڑکيوں کے زندہ ہونے کي تصديق کي ہے. کوہستان ميں جرگے کي جانب سے 2 لڑکو اور 4 لڑکيوں کو سزائے موت سنائے جانے کے واقعے کے از خود نوٹس کيس کي سماعت چيف جسٹس کي سربراہي ميں بينچ نے کي. آج بھي کوہستان واقعے کي ويڈيو ميں دکھائي جانے والي لڑکيوں کو عدالت ميں پيش نہيں کيا جاسکا تاہم انساني حقوق کي رکن فرزانہ باري نے کوہستان کے علاقے کا دورہ کرکے 2 لڑکيوں کے زندہ ہونے کي تصديق کي ہے. ميڈيا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے فرزانہ باري کا کہنا ہے کہ کوہستان کے دورے ميں ہم نے وہاں کئي فتوے اکٹھے کئے اور 2 لڑکيوں سے ملاقات کي ہے، لڑکيوں نے ہميں ديگر 3 لڑکيوں کے گھر کا پتا بھي بتايا، اگر ديگر 3 لڑکيوں سے ملنے کي کوشش کرتے تو 3 دن لگتے، ديگر 3 لڑکيوں سے بات کرانا انتظاميہ کا کام ہے. انہوں نے کہا کہ ايسا نہيں ہے کہ ايسے واقعات ہمارے ملک ميں نہيں ہوتے، 2 لڑکيوں سے ملي ہوں وہ تو محفوظ ہيں مگر ان کي زندگي خطرے ميں پڑسکتي ہے. فرزانہ راجہ نے ميڈيا کے سوالات کے جواب ديتے ہوئے کہا کہ انتظاميہ اور سول سوسائٹي کي ذمہ داري ہے کہ لڑکيوں کو تحفظ ديں، انتظاميہ سے کہا ہے کہ لڑکيوں کو تحفظ فراہم کيا جائے، ہمارے ساتھ ہزارہ انتظاميہ کے کئي افراد بھي لڑکيوں سے ملے. کمشنر ہزارہ نے ميڈيا کو بتايا کہ لڑکوں کا بھائي امريکا اور کينيڈا کي شہريت لينے کيلئے الزامات لگا رہا ہے، لڑکوں کے بھائي پر 420 کا مقدمہ کريں گے، لڑکوں کا بھائي افضل مستقل جھوٹ بول رہا ہے.
