KARACHI: The All-Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) has announced to end strike in Sindh, which he called a tax dispute with the government, Geo news reported. According APCNGA President Ghayas Abdullah Paracha, the strike will continue in other parts of the country. People across the country are facing lots of problems due to the closure of compressed natural gas (CNG) stations as part of a nationwide strike call given by APCNGA against the government decision to raise taxes on the CNG industry. Taking advantage of the situation, public transport operators and taxi drivers have extra fares from commuters, arguing that they were using gasoline as fuel instead of gas. Ghayas Paracha said that the joint call of the strike APCNGA would become a shield against the rising price of Rs15 CNG. "This tax will be an additional burden on the pocket so that the public is just as lethal to the public and owners of CNG stations," he added. He said the government has failed to overcome the crisis of electricity, closing the CNG station. Now the authorities concerned should announce the continued supply of gas stations to facilitate the general public. He appealed the public to support the strike of all Pakistan CNG Association, as he is fighting to reduce the price of gas. Secretary Petroleum & Natural Resources Muhammad Ejaz Chaudhry has vehemently denied the position taken by the CNG for their strike 'unjustified'.

کراچي…سيکريٹري پٹروليم اعجاز چوہدري نے سي اين جي پر بغير مشاورت نيا ٹيکس نہ لگنے کي يقين دہاني کرادي ، جس کے بعد سي اين جي ڈيلرزاونرز ايسوسي ايشن کي جانب سے سندھ ميں سي اين جي کي ہڑتال ختم کردي.سي اين جي ڈيلرز اور اسٹيشنز اونرز ايسوسي ايشن کي پريس ريليز کے مطابق سيکريٹري پٹروليم کي جانب سے مثبت پيش رفت کے بعد آج دوپہرسندھ بھر ميں سي اين جي پمپس کھولنے کا فيصلہ کيا گيا تاکہ عوام کو ريليف مل سکے. سيکريٹري پٹروليم نے سي اين جي پر بغير مشاورت کسي نئے ٹيکس کے نہ لگنے کي يقين دہاني کرا نے کے علاوہ 15 جون سے سي اين جي کي قيمتوں ميں کمي کا وعدہ بھي کيا ہے.دوسري طرف وزارت پٹروليم کي پريس ريليز ميں سيکريٹري پٹروليم اعجاز چوہدري کا کہنا ہے کہ وزارت کي طرف سے سي اين جي پر اضافي ٹيکس کا کوئي فيصلہ نہيں ہوا اور وزارت ہڑتال ختم کرنے کے اعلان کا خير مقدم کرتي ہے.ان کا کہنا تھا کہ آل پاکستان سي اين جي ايسوسي ايشن کو بھي عوام کي مشکلات کا احساس کرتے ہوئے ہڑتال فوري طور پر ختم کرديني چاہيے.
