Clashes leave 13 dead in Orakzai

(eNews.pk) - PESHAWAR: Dozens of armed militants attacked a paramilitary checkpoint in the Orakzai Agency on Wednesday, triggering clashes that left three soldiers dead and at least 10 attackers, officials said.




The border area with Afghanistan - described by Washington, the most dangerous place on earth and the world headquarters of Al-Qaeda - is cut to journalists and aid workers and it was not possible to confirm the death toll.
"More than 30 militants attacked a checkpoint in the Frontier Corps Dabori area of Orakzai tribal region on Wednesday afternoon, killing three security people," he told AFP a security official in Peshawar.

کوہاٹ … اپر اورکزئي ايجنسي ميں سيکيورٹي فورسز اور شدت پسندوں کے درميان جھڑپ ميں 11 شدت پسند مارے گئے جبکہ 3سيکيورٹي اہل کار شہيد اور 7 زخمي ہوگئے. ذرائع کے مطابق شدت پسندوں نے اپر اورکزئي ايجنسي کے علاقے ڈبوري ميں سيکيورٹي فورسز کي چيک پوسٹ پر بھاري ہتھياروں سے حملہ کيا جس ميں 3 سيکيورٹي اہلکار شہيد اور 7 زخمي ہوگئے. سيکيورٹي فورسز نے بھي بھرپور جوابي کارروائي کي جس ميں 11 شدت پسند ہلاک اور متعدد زخمي ہوگئے. زخمي سيکيورٹي اہلکاروں کو سي ايم ايچ کوہاٹ منتقل کرديا گيا، واقعے کے بعد سيکيورٹي فورسز کي جانب سے گن شپ ہيلي کاپٹرز کے ذريعے وقفے وقفے سے شدت پسندوں کے ٹھکانوں پر شيلنگ جاري ہے.
