China mudslides kill at least 16: Xinhua

(eNews.pk) - BEIJING: landslide that buried an iron ore mine in northwestern China have killed at least 16 people, with another 12 still missing a day after the disaster, state media reported Wednesday.

Most accident victims in the remote Xinjiang region were miners, but the bodies of six residents, including three women and a child were also taken under the rubble.

بيجنگ… چين ميں مٹي کے تودے گرنے سے 16 افراد ہلاک اور 12 لاپتہ ہوگئے ہيں. شمال مشرقي چين ميں مٹي کے تودے کان پر گرنے سے6 کان کن دب گئے جبکہ شن جيانگ کے علاقے ميں تين خواتين اورايک بچے سميت 6 افراد کي لاشيں نکال لي گئي ہيں. ايمرجنسي حکام کے مطابق زند ہ بچ جانے والوں کي تلاش کي جارہي ہے.
