Afghan suicide hit death toll rise to 22

(eNews.pk) - Mazar-e-Sharif: A suicide bomber blew himself up at a wedding in northern Afghanistan on Saturday, killing at least 22 people including a prominent politician, and wounding 40, police said.

The death toll makes Saturday's attack one of the deadliest in the country for months. The Afghan lawmaker Ahmad Khan Samangani, who hosted the party, was among the dead, the provincial governor said Anosh Khairullah. "It was the wedding of the daughter of Ahmad Khan Samangani of. A suicide bomber blew himself up, killing and injuring dozens," he told Reuters Anosh.
