پارلیمنٹ میں احتساب کا نیا قانون پاس ہونا چاہئے: سینیٹر رضا ربانی
پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی (پی پی پی) کے رہنما سینیٹر رضا ربانی نے سینیٹ اجلاس میں احتساب کے نئے قانون کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ایوان کی کمیٹی تشکیل دے کر نیا احتساب قانون لایا جائے۔
سینیٹر رضا ربانی نے کہا کہ سپریم کورٹ کے جسٹس مقبول باقر نے خواجہ سعد رفیق کیس میں تاریخی فیصلہ سنایا تھا۔ اور اگر پارلیمنٹ سپریم کورٹ کے فیصلے کے بعد اپنا کردار ادا نہیں کرتی ہے تو ہمیں تاریخ میں مجرم کے طور پر یاد کیا جائے گا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ دیگر عدالتوں کو ضمانت کے مقدمات میں فیصلے کی پاسداری کرنی ہوگی۔ سینیٹ نے تیز انصاف کے لئے سفارشات پیش کیں لیکن ان پر عمل درآمد نہیں ہوا۔
رضا ربانی نے تجویز پیش کی کہ پارلیمنٹ سپریم کورٹ کے فیصلے کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے احتساب کے ایک نئے قانون پر فیصلہ کرے۔ ایک نیا وفاقی احتساب قانون درکار ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ سب کے لئے یکساں قانون اور طریقہ کار ہونا چاہئے۔
انہوں نے کہا ، “یہاں کوئی گائوں نہیں ہونی چاہئے۔” دونوں ایوانوں کی پارلیمانی کمیٹی تشکیل دی جائے۔ ربانی نے کہا ، ایک کمیٹی تشکیل دے کر احتساب کے لئے ایک نیا قانون مقررہ مدت کے اندر اندر لانا ہو گا۔

He said that a new accountability law should be introduced through the establishment of a house committee.
Senator Raza Rabbani said that Supreme Court Justice Maqbool Baqar made a historic judgment in the Khawaja Saad Rafique case. And if Parliament doesn’t play its role after the Supreme Court decision, we’ll be remembered in history as guilty.
He said other courts would have to stick to the decision in bail cases. The Senate made recommendations for swift justice, but these have not been implemented.
Raza Rabbani suggested that Parliament should take into account the Supreme Court decision on a new accountability law. A new federal accountability law is required. There should be the same law and procedure for everyone, he added.
“There shouldn’t be any sacred cows,” he said. A parliamentary committee of both houses should be formed. A new accountability law must be introduced within the timeframe through the formation of a committee, Rabbani said.
