7 people killed in shooting clinic in Guatemala

(eNews.pk) - GUATEMALA CITY: Authorities in Guatemala say gunmen stormed a medical clinic in the capital and shot seven people to death.




Guatemala City fire department spokesman Raul Hernandez said the attackers fired four people on the ground floor, one on the stairs and two more on the second floor before fleeing on Thursday. Says six victims died on the spot and the seventh in a hospital.
Hernandez said authorities do not know the motive for the attack.
Guatemala is one of the most violent countries in the world, with a murder rate of 39 per 100,000 people.
