500 old notes could be changed to October 1st

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: Monday, October 1 is the deadline for changing old design note of Rs500 large size of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) 's field offices, as well as all branches of commercial banks.




After the expiry of this period, SBP would not be liable to change this notice to any person or the bank or to pay any amount to return, said a pamphlet published here by SBP.
SBP has again advised the public to get the old design large Rs500 note changed to Monday, October 1st in banking hours in the field offices of SBP and over 10,000 commercial bank branches across the country.








500کا پرانا نوٹ یکم اکتوبرتک تبدیل ہو سکے گا


کراچی… 500 روپے کا پرانے ڈیزائن والا بڑا نوٹ اسٹیٹ بنک کے فیلڈ دفاتر اور تمام بینکوں کی برانچوں سے تبدیل کرانے کا آخری دن پیر یکم اکتوبر ہے۔ اعلامیے کے مطابق اسٹیٹ بنک تاریخ گزرنے کے بعد کسی بھی فرد یا بینک سے یہ نوٹ تبدیل کرنے یا اس کے عوض کوئی رقم ادا کرنے کا پابند نہ ہو گا۔ اسٹیٹ بینک نے عوام کو ایک بار پھر ہدایت کی ہے کہ وہ 500 روپے کا پرانے ڈیزائن والا بڑا نوٹ اسٹیٹ بنک کے فیلڈ دفاتر اور ملک بھر میں پھیلی مختلف بنکوں کی دس ہزار سے زائد برانچوں سے یکم اکتوبر 2012ء کو بینکنگ اوقات کے خاتمے تک تبدیل کرا لیں۔
