3.4 billion issued to ECP for General Election

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Finance has so far allocated Rs 3.4 billion euro for the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for holding the next general election, sources told Geo news.




According to the sources of funding of the ministry, the ECP had sought Rs 5.9 billion from the ministry.
The ministry has so far allocated Rs 3.4 billion euro for the Commission, while remaining Rs 2.5 billion would be released soon, the sources added.








آئندہ عام انتخابات کیلئے الیکشن کمیشن کو 3ارب40 کروڑ روپے جاری


اسلام آباد…آئندہ عام انتخابات کے لیے وزارت خزانہ اب تک الیکشن کمیشن کو 3ارب40 کروڑ روپے جاری کر چکی ہے جبکہ مزید رقم جلد جاری کر دی جائے گی۔ وزارت خزانہ کے ذرائع نے جیو نیوز کو بتایا کہ الیکشن کمیشن نے آئندہ عام انتخابات کے لیے 5ارب 90کروڑ روپے مانگے تھے۔ وزارت خزانہ اب تک الیکشن کمیشن کو 3ارب40 روپے جاری کر چکی ہے جبکہ الیکشن کمیشن کو مزید 2ارب 50کروڑروپے جلد جاری کر دیے جائیں گے۔
