2 dead, 19 injured in Toronto shooting

(eNews.pk) - OTTAWA: Two people died and several including a baby were injured in a shooting in Toronto, Canada, the largest metropolis on Monday night, police said.




"2 people killed in a shootout that erupted during the game," police said in a Twitter message. "The dead are a man and a woman," said a second message to the police chief Bill Blair. He described the incident as "the worst incident of gun violence" in the history of the city. "A lot of innocent people were injured tonight."

ٹورنٹو… کينيڈا کي ايک تقريب ميں فائرنگ سے ايک لڑکي سميت2افراد ہلاک 19زخمي ہوگئے.ٹورنٹوپوليس چيف بل بلئير کے مطابق رات گئے مشرقي شہر ٹورنٹو ميں باربي کيو پارٹي ميں فائرنگ کي گئي. بھگدڑ اور فائرنگ کے تبادلے ميں 20 سالہ لڑکي سميت دو افراد ہلاک ہوئے جبکہ ايک شير خوار بچے سميت 19 افراد زخمي ہوئے ، جنھيں فوري طور پر اسپتال منتقل کرديا گيا ہے. پوليس کاکہنا ہے کہ تقريب ميں 2 سو کے قريب افراد شريک تھے.
