14 dead, 30 injured in Punjab Road mishaps

(eNews.pk) - Sahiwal / Chichawatni / FAISALABAD: Three road mishaps killed at least 14 people and the hospitalization of about 30 here on Tuesday night, Geo news.




Rescue sources said a passenger bus en route to Raiwaind came across a trailer near Bypass Road Multan Chowki killing ten of travelers on board and injuring 16 more. Apparently the bus had begun its fateful journey from Multan somewhere around midnight but met with an accident near Sahiwal.
In another tragedy at least three of a family succumbed to a head on collision between a jeep and a car on the road near Burewala Chichawatni. At least four people were seriously injured in the accident.
Later, in early Wednesday fired a bus along the Jhang road crashed into a truck as it entered Faisalabad. According to rescue sources the accident killed the driver of the bus, while killing at least ten passengers in dire need of medical attention.
The dead and injured were taken to hospitals.

ساہیوال /چیچہ وطنی/فیصل آباد…ساہیوال ، چیچہ وطنی اور فیصل آباد میں ٹریفک کے تین مختلف واقعات میں 14 افراد جاں بحق اور 30 زخمی ہوگئے۔ ریسکیو ذرائع کے مطابق تبلیغی جماعت کے ارکان سے بھری بس ملتان سے رائے ونڈ جارہی تھی، ساہی وال میں ملتان روڈ پر چوکی بائی پاس کے قریب بس اور ٹریلر میں تصادم ہوگیا، جس کے نتیجے میں 10 افراد موقع پر ہی جاں بحق ہوگئے اور 16 افراد زخمی ہوگئے۔ زخمیوں کو ڈسٹرکٹ ہیڈ کوارٹر اسپتال ساہی وال منتقل کردیا گیا ہے۔دوسرا حادثہ چیچہ وطنی میں پیش آیا جہاں بورے والا روڈ پر ایک کار اور جیپ آپس میں ٹکراگئیں۔ حادثے میں ایک ہی خاندان کے تین افراد جاں بحق اور چار زخمی ہوگئے۔ فیصل آباد میں بھی جھنگ روڈ پرسدھار بائی پاس کے قریب بس اور ویگن میں تصادم ہوگیا۔ حادثے میں بس کا ڈرائیور جاں بحق اور دس مسافرزخمی ہوگئے۔
